Daniel Libeskind’s latest project for the Jewish Museum Berlin opens November 17.

The Academy of the Jewish Museum Berlin Will Be Forum for Research, Discussion and Education 

NEW YORK, NY: November 16, 2012—Roughly a dozen years after Daniel Libeskind’s extension to the Jewish Museum Berlin opened to great acclaim in 2001, the museum is set to unveil its latest collaboration with the architect, the Academy of the Jewish Museum Berlin.  The official opening, for which Mr. Libeskind will travel toGermany, will take place on the evening of Saturday, November 17.

Złota 44 – Now the tallest in Europe!

Złota 44 is now the highest exclusively residential tower in the European Union. Standing at 192 meters tall, the installation of the final piece of steel now reveals the true shape of Daniel Libeskind’s inspired design.

To celebrate the accomplishment on Sunday, October 28th the apex was illuminated and will be turned on every evening until New Year’s Eve.

SFMOMA Presents "Spatial Experiments" by Contemporary Artists and Architects Exhibition dates: September 01, 2012 - January 06, 2013

Daniel Libeskind's Micromegas (1978), made early in the celebrated architect's career and now in the SFMOMA collection, is a conceptual cornerstone of the exhibition, with its early and radical stance to the language of architecture. This deconstructionist approach opened new exploratory avenues for later architects and artists such as Lebbeus Woods, whose large-scale, immersive Conflict Space drawings (2006) will also be on view.

He was bestowed the recognition of ACADEMICIAN of the International Academy of Architecture by President Georgi Stoilov, architect, at the Academy’s XIIIth World Triennial of Architecture “Interarch 21012” in Sofia, Bulgaria on May 16, 2012.
